My feelings towards this bill are the same towards ones allowing pharmacists to refuse to dispense birth control: telling a woman what is going on inside her uterus is an obstetricians job. If you are unwilling to do that, get over it or get a new job.

People trust their doctors. When a doctor comes to you and tells you that the test results came back good, you believe them. These women will be told that they are carrying healthy babies, they are preparing for healthy babies, they are proudly showing their friends and family ultrasound photos of what they think are healthy babies, they are decorating the nurseries that their healthy babies will sleep in, they are picking out the names that their healthy babies will have, they are planning out futures for their healthy babies, they are saving up money for college for the healthy babies that they think will live long enough to go to college.

And then they will go through hours of painful labor only to find that the healthy baby they were told to expect doesn’t exist, instead they are given an extremely sick child. They are told that there will be no graduations, weddings or children for their baby, but instead there will be operations, breathing and feeding tubes and pain. Their life will be short, maybe only a few days. Those will be the lucky parents.

The other mothers will labor for hours only to discover that her baby is dead. Or else she will not make it to the delivery room, instead succumbing to a complication her doctor didn’t see fit to tell her about.

That is not morality. That is cruelty.

hey what if someone invented a machine that allowed women pregnant people to transfer their pregnancies to men the person who impregnated them, and then the government passed a law that if a woman person didn’t want to have a baby the biological father impregnating partner was required to carry it how fast do you think birth control would stop being an issue

There is no such thing as “Reproductive Rights”. It’s a privilege to be able to create and carry a child for nine months. It’s a life that God has not only created, but given.
